You bet, Soundboks Mix has a dettachable grill. You can remove it for easier customization and cleaning.

Do I need to use the Soundboks app with the Soundboks Mix?
Nope, but we highly recommend it. You can play music wirelessly and use TeamUp to connect other Soundboks speakers without it. However, without the app you won’t be able to access the sound and performance upgrades. You’ll also miss out on the advanced controls and EQ profiles.
